Former supreme commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, now Ambassador of Kosovo to Albania, Sulejman Selimi, is accused of raping two Albanians during the Kosovo war, according to the Pristina press.
EULEX Prosecutor Maurizio Saljustro filed yesterday charges against four people for a war crime against civilians.
Although EULEX in the announcement did not specify the details, "Koha Ditore" writes today that they Nedzat Cubrelj Ismet Hajj and Shefki Hyseni who arrested two women beaten and tortured while Selimi is accused of raping her.
Selimi lawyer, Tom Gashi told "Koha Ditore" had not been informed about the new charge against his client.
Sylejman Selimi was previously charged in the "Drenica Group" charged with the criminal offense of war crimes against civilians and the murder.
