The fall in 1941. units of the Wehrmacht launched an offensive in order to regain lost territory in western Serbia. A punitive expedition headed for the Krupanj , but on the bridge over Jadar at the place called Gajic wall near Draginac it was stopped and broken up by the partisan October 14, 1941.
German occupying forces in retaliation for the defeat of Draginac and the surroundings, collected and at several places in Draginac executed civilians, the youngest victim was only three days old. After that, they were all buried in common graves, which were regulated after the war and marked, and in 1961. All the remains were transferred to the joint mausoleum outside the village. The mausoleum is a marked granite monument with the height of seven meters, made by Ostoja Gordanić Balkanski.
At the memorial are inscribed commemorative texts. In place of earlier graves remain decorated graves where there are panels with verses Ðorđe Radišić. The mausoleum was completely restored by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy 2011. The crime in Draginac was repeated in similar tragic events in Kraljevo and Kragujevac in October of the same year.
